Your Experience Matters: An Insight into Our Pricing and Service Adjustments

Given the current economic climate, we understand how important it is to be transparent and clear. We’re happy to share more about how we approach providing our services and our commitment to maintaining a stable and supportive work environment during this time.

Our services are structured around the time required to complete them, which directly aligns with our tiered system. We use a thoughtful formula to determine our service pricing per minute, and we reassess this annually. This allows us to take a careful and measured approach when considering any changes. We’ve always stayed committed to this method, and our review process takes place each February to ensure we’re staying aligned with our goals.

We offer four pricing tiers, which are based on each stylist’s experience and years in the industry. It’s important to note that no stylist is ever able to offer a service or charge for it unless they meet our high standards of quality.

We’ve created these levels with two main goals in mind: first, to support our junior team in growing into the professionals they are capable of becoming, and second, to provide an accessible pathway into a luxury salon experience. With this in mind, we’re excited to introduce a new pricing tier called ‘JUNIOR,’ featuring a carefully selected range of services that our first-year team members can perform with the support and guidance of our senior staff.

Our service level tiers & their descriptions:

Junior Stylist – 1st Year Apprentice (20% off Emerging prices on select services only)
Emerging Stylist – 2nd & 3rd Year Apprentice
Graduate Stylist – Senior Hairdresser in their first year of Qualification (4th year)
Senior Stylist – Senior Hairdresser (5+ years experience)
Specialist – The salon director and/or a stylist who is a Lóreal Colour Degree Graduate

With this update, we’re excited to celebrate the advancement of two of our talented stylists. Bela has successfully completed her graduate year and is now recognised as a Senior Stylist. Montana has also made incredible progress and is now stepping into the role of Emerging Stylist, continuing to grow beautifully in this position.

Angelina has some exciting new milestones ahead in her career. She will be embarking on a 12-month journey to become a L’Oréal Professional Colour Specialist by completing her colour degree. This globally recognised course will take her expertise to new heights. We’ll ensure she has the right time and support after her studies to make her transition to a colour specialist smooth, positive, and well-deserved.

2 years ago, we introduced a game-changing tool into our colouring services called Salon Scale, and its impact has been truly remarkable. This innovative digital tool has revolutionised the way we approach colour, by weighing, tracking, and measuring the exact amount of colour we use, while also reducing waste and helping us manage costs more effectively. For you, our valued customer, this means a pricing model that’s personalised to your needs, through our Labour + Parts service style. The labour component reflects the time and expertise dedicated to your service, while the parts component covers the stock used during the process. We’re so grateful for how this tool has allowed us to offer fairer, more transparent pricing, tailored to each individual service.

Overall, there have been only a few small adjustments to our service menu pricing, and these changes are focused on areas where experience and results go hand in hand. We believe these updates truly reflect the value we strive to provide with every service.
